Born and raised in Los Angeles, Walton Nunez’s passion for hair styling began at a young age. His love for rock music has greatly influenced his craft, drawing inspiration from musicians such as David Bowie, Bjork and Tina Turner. Throughout his career, his style has progressed utilizing both clean, minimal lines and bold shapes that accentuate each client’s unique features.
Over the years countless clients have entrusted their tresses to him, including Mena Suvari, Misty Copeland and Ziwe. He has collaborated on editorials for Esquire, Harper’s Bazaar and W Magazine and worked on commercials and campaigns for clients ranging from Maybelline and Gillette to Diesel and Golden Goose.
Now residing in New York City, one of Walton’s favorite phrases is “style is always on trend”.
